Top Attractions In Cornwall

  • The Eden Project
Possible Cornwall's best known and most popular attraction, the Eden Project turned a disused quarry into the world's largest greenhouse, with biomes representing the plant life of the rainforest, a mediterranean garden and an outdoors display of the plants that can grow in the UK. A magnificent acheivement and a must-see for all visitors to Cornwall.
  • The Lost Gardens of Heligan
No lesser acheivement is the restoration of the gardens at Heligan, left to become overgrown when all the gardeners were called up for the WW1. A quiet, peaceful haven. Especially remarkable is the jungle area, which is so sheltered that it is several degrees warmer than the rest of the garden allowing plants to grow that will not normally survive the British climate.
  • Lappa Valley Steam Railway
A charming family attraction near Newquay with train rides, play areas, a boating lake and the ruins of a historic mine. Worth a visit.
