Surfing In Cornwall

Cornwall is noted for its magnificent sandy beaches which are excellent for surfing.

Surfing is great fun but it is important to know what you are doing. if you want to surf it is best to do a surf course to at least learn the basics. The British Surfing Association website has lists of surf schools in Cornwall and the rest of the UK, as well as up to date surf reports, forcasts and reports on surfing events around the world.

Another useful source of information is the BBC Cornwall Surfing page which has weather information webcams and guides to all Cornwall's best surfing beaches.

The National Surfing Centre is a surf school based in Newquay which is owned and run by the British Surfing Association. They offer courses for both children and adults as well as offering private lessons.
